Themed “Connecting World Seafood with the Pacific”, the three-day event is scheduled to be held at Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
The Exposition opens up excellent opportunities to introduce products, equipment and technology and will be a vehicle for investment and business opportunities in the Pacific seafood industry. The Exposition is complemented by the 6th Pacific Tuna Forum which will take place at The Stanley Hotel & Suites, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea from 13-14 September 2017 in proximity to the Expo venue.
The 1ST PACIFIC SEAFOOD AND TECHNOLOGY EXPOSITION 2017 will be held at Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium is a multi-sport and athletics venue and is part of the larger Sir John Guise Sports Precinct. The stadium is named after Sir John Guise, the first Governor-General of Papua New Guinea.

Port Moresby, the capital of PNG, is the major entry and exit point of the country. It is a sprawling city with a population of around 300 000. The city houses some famous attractions like the National Museum, the new Parliament building which is built in traditional spirit-house style and Moitaka Wildlife Sanctuary which is famous for its crocodile farm. Some other attractions in the city are Idler’s beach, Sinasi reef, Boroko, Gordons and Daugo Island.
PNG is known as the land of adventure for its natural wilderness, breathtaking landscapes, lost cultures, mystery, tropical jungles and fascinating flora and fauna. The waters surrounding PNG are exotic and still vastly unexploited with spectacular marine life.
Port Moresby is served by Jacksons International Airport with connections to all of the world's major cities, with direct flights to the Australia, Solomon Islands, Singapore, Philipines and Hong Kong. Cairns and Brisbane are accesed by both Air Niugini and Airlines PNG, while Sydney, Singapore, Manila, Hong Kong, Honiara and Nadi have direct flight by Air Niugini only.

A 60-day tourist visa is available on arrival in Port Moresby at a fee of K100.00. To obtain a visa before you enter the country costs K75.00. You will need travel documents, sufficient funds for your stay in the country and airline ticket with confirmed outbound flights before expiry date of your Visa. As some restrictions apply to several Asian, Eastern European and African countries, please check with the nearest Papua New Guinea Mission or the nearest Australian mission, which is allocated in each country for visa requirements before traveling to the country. The organizers will assist delegates to obtain their entry visas from the PNG Embassy in their respective countries or on their arrival.
